SAVE SERENA SALE

Rincon Valley Farmers & Artisans Market
12500 E. Old Spanish Trail, Tucson -- look for the huge green barn
(4 mi. east of Saguaro National Monument East)

More Serena info (see event above):

Serena is a women's rights activist. She has helped countless people: homeless and disadvantaged women needing medical attention, as well as volunteer coaching for debate students. Her surgery is estimated at $68,000, and she needs $15,000 for a deposit.

A special booth at the market will offer a big assortment of donated items: art, antiques, collectibles, jewelry, ladies accessories, housewares, toys, gourmet desserts--and more--at reasonable prices.
100% of all booth sales will benefit Serena's medical treatment fund!

I'll be there running the booth, plus selling and signing my book. The booth will feature a table of signed books by other Southern Arizona authors. A portion of all book sales will be donated to Serena's surgery fund

Saturday, March 24 10:00am to 5:00pm

SAVE SERENA WITH SURGERY EVENT
sponsored by Writers Unite to Fight Cancer

Monterey Court Art Galleries on the historic Miracle Mile in Tucson, AZ
505 W. Miracle Mile, one block west of Oracle

This fundraiser is for a very special young lady, Serena Freewomyn, 31, recently diagnosed with a cancerous brain tumor. All participating writers will donate a portion of their book sales to the Serena Surgery Fund. I can't be there in person--I'll be in Phoenix at the Scottish Games --but my book will be available for sale. I have done a number of book events with Writers Unite to Fight Cancer and came to know Serena, the organization's website designer and social network consultant. She is a lovely, caring, talented young woman and deserves to live a much longer life.
